Job Title: Orthotic Technician
Status: Full-time
Location: Zelienople, PA
Overview: Elite is a medical device company that manufactures custom orthotic bracing. Our team collaborates to produce high quality products in a state-of-the-art fabrication facility. This position will allow you to learn from our highly trained technicians and provides opportunity for a quality career path contributing to the production of products that will support the well-being of patients.
Responsibilities may include:
- Use of shop equipment and hand tools to fabricate custom orthotic devices
- On-site training to ensure adequate quality of production
- Areas of concentration include:
- Plastic finishing
- Plastic vacuum forming
- Plaster mold making
- Leatherwork
- Metal work
- Shoe work
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Requires standing for the majority of shift
- Willingness to submit criminal background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of human anatomy
