About Us

We are a non-denominational Christian church in Norwalk, CA (styled similarly to Calvary Chapel) that values biblical truth, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and genuine praise. We study through the bible on Sunday mornings going one chapter at a time.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Spirit-led Worship Leader to guide our congregation on Sunday mornings. Beyond musical talent, we are looking for a true worshiper with a heart for honoring God and serving the church. This role is ideal for a student or local musician who wants to grow in ministry leadership, lead weekly services, and build a worship team over time.

Key Responsibilities

Sunday Morning Service: Lead musical worship (vocals accompanied by acoustic guitar or keys) for our 11:00 AM Sunday service. Arrive at 10:00 AM for setup, mic checks, media prep, and team prayer.

Team Building: Actively encourage, recruit, and mentor volunteers to help build and grow a small worship and tech team.

Media & Tech: Prepare and update weekly presentation slides (PowerPoint or equivalent) with song lyrics and service visuals ahead of Sunday.

Service Prep: Select spirit-led, gospel-centered music and coordinate service flow.

(Note: Outside of Sunday mornings and brief weekly prep, mid-week service commitment is not required, though optional if desired.)

Qualifications

Strong vocal ability with proficiency in a primary accompanying instrument (acoustic guitar or keyboard).
 

A vibrant personal faith aligned with Spirit-led, non-denominational Christian ministry.

A heart for servant leadership and a passion for building community and teamwork.
 

Basic comfort with presentation software and sound setup.
