Pro AV Systems, Inc. is an established company in the audio-visual business with headquarters in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and additional site offices in Maine and Vermont. Our primary business is design, installation and service of AV systems in the Corporate, Medical and Education markets. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about private accounting within the audio visual industry. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; accounts payable transactions, maintaining vendor communication, reconciliations, preparing financial reports, monitoring purchase/sales orders, assisting in maintaining chart of accounts, monitoring project expenses, rectifying account discrepancies, monitoring inventory assets, general ledger posting transactions, maintaining vendor documentations, tax exempt documentations.
We are a growing company looking to expand our accounting department. We would enjoy bringing someone to the team who has a positive "can do" attitude and isn't afraid to ask questions. We would be able to onboard someone who has a college degree within business, finance, or accounting. This position intuitively connects with the operations team and you will work underneath the accountant/accounting manager. You will learn many aspects of operations and accounting, as to how they intertwine. There is room for growth within the company and we encourage all applicants looking for an entry level accounting position to apply!
We use QuickBooks as our accounting software. We also have other project management software we use such as D-tools. We use Expensify to track all company employee expenses. You will be working with our QuickBooks accounting software and you will be thoroughly trained on how to use it accurately and efficiently.
