Ogunquit Police Department Community Service Officer (new positions open)
The Ogunquit Police Department is hiring Community Service Officers (non-sworn personnel) for the 2020 summer season.
This is an entry-level position great for individuals looking to support law enforcement operations in Ogunquit's busy summertime community. Tasks include enforcing the ordinances of the town of Ogunquit, patrolling Ogunquit Beach, Perkins Cove and downtown Ogunquit, issuing parking citations, directing traffic, responding to general assistance calls, assisting full time and part time law enforcement personnel in day to day activities including investigations, providing support to full time fire fighter and EMS personnel, engaging in positive community relations practices.
Pay: $15.00 per hour.
JOB STARTS ASAP!!
Age: 18 years old.
Experience: None necessary.
Physical: Must be able to stay on your feet for long periods of time.
Additional: No adult criminal history. Must be willing to work day and occasional evening shifts during weekends and holidays.
