Educare Master Teacher

The Master Teacher facilitates full and effective implementation of Educare’s Core Features and evidence-based instructional practices by providing education staff with instructional leadership through design, delivery and coordination of intensive professional development; facilitation of interdisciplinary collaboration; and administrative support.

Qualification: Outcomes of the Master Teacher’s work include exemplary early learning classroom quality, teacher-child interactions, and retention of staff. A position with responsibilities that includes oversight and monitoring of day to day operations and management of an Educare center. Experience, as well as working knowledge and sensitivity to child care issues of low income, and at risk children and families. Position includes supervising staff. Candidate must be knowledgeable of Head Start Federal Standards, DEEC regulations, QRIS and NAEYC standards and accreditation process. Master’s Degree in Child Development (CD), Early Childhood Education (ECE) or in a related field. At least five years of Early Childhood experience, at least one year of high level supervisory experience.  Minimum requirements include DEEC Director I Certification, Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool Lead Teacher Certification required. Strong supervisory, written and verbal skills are required. Full time 40 hrs/ 52 wk., exempt position.

                           Starting Salary: $2,186.40 bi-weekly
