Contracted Student Interns - Licensing - (200004TS)

The Department of Mental Health is seeking to hire a student intern who will support the Licensing Division.
Duties will include: data collection, collating information, analysis of licensed inpatient bed capacity and clinical competencies, assist with the organization of electronic files by scanning relevant documents to pdf format and filing according to previously identified protocols for tracking Licensing documents.
The intern will assist the Office Manager with Public Records Requests by identifying relevant records and organizing them in a way that can be easily transmitted to the Legal Office. The intern will also receive, prepare for review, and respond to submissions of materials by licensed hospitals and some state operated facilities, when these materials are forwarded in preparation for meetings, they will also prepare and maintain reports for the Licensing Division regarding the resources available at inpatient facilities. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • This internship opportunity is for undergraduate student who must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited College or University.
  • Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency.
Additional Information:
  • Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals.
  • All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit.
