Special Education Assistants (Paraprofessionals)
Excellent opportunity for students working on getting into the field of education or just to see if it is a good fit for you. We will train!
Special Education Assistants that work in intensive programs; (PALS: primary academic learning, need assistance with learning & safety, FRIENDS and FLEX: autism, PFS: emotional disabilities, ACT: academic and career training, STEPS: students tackling emotional and personal struggles, ESC: emotional and academic support, BAS: basic academic skills)
will receive an additional $0.50 per hour while working in that program.
Benefits include 9 paid holidays, sick leave, attendance bonus, personal days, and bereavement. Course reimbursement is available after one year. If you work 25+ hrs per week you are eligible for Dental & Life Insurance.

- 6.25 hours a day, FRIENDS program position +$0.50 per hour
Special Education Assistant, Middle School
- (3) 6.25 hours a day, FLEX program position +$0.50 per hour
Special Education Assistant, South Elementary School
- (7) 6.25 hours a day, (1) 5.5 hours a day, (1) 6.75 hours a day
- FRIENDS/FLEX program positions +$0.50 per hour
- (1) 6.25 hours a day PFS program position +$0.50 per hour
- (1) 6.25 hours a day ESC program position +$0.50 per hour

- 6.25 hours a day, ESC program position +$0.50 per hour
Special Education Assistant, Matthew Thornton Elementary School
- (2) 6.25 hours a day, PALS program position +$0.50 per hour
