The YMCA of the North Shore has expanded our programming to provide quality childcare for families during this unprecedented time and align with school districts remote and hybrid learning models. With locations throughout the North Shore region including in Beverly, Haverhill, Ipswich, Gloucester, Marblehead, Salem and Plaistow, New Hampshire, we have abundant opportunities to join in this new learning format. We are seeking nurturing individuals to join our team and support the growing needs of the center as a part time substitute based on program needs. This is a flexible position with purpose!
During Learning Pods and along with our traditional after school programming staff will provide virtual classroom facilitation and support, transition children through activities, lead homework guidance, educational and creative arts blocks for children grades K-6. You will ensure program cleanliness and support safety measures in place following state and local authority guidelines. On a regular day you will support the secure check in and check out of children attending and departing the program, supervise the activities of a small group of children ensuring their safety and participation throughout the day, and communicate with supporting team members.
