Management and Program Analyst
This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of International Affairs (IA), Business Operations office.
- Plans, schedules, and conducts projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of substantive programs and work operations. Current measurement practices may be ambiguous and subject to widely varying interpretations. Under these circumstances, the employee develops new information about the subject and establishes criteria to identify and measure program accomplishments.
- Analyzes and evaluates program effectiveness in meeting established goals and objectives
- Develops and executes an advanced level of management and program analysis theories and concepts that address new developments and theories to problems that are confidential in nature, and not susceptible to treatment by accepted methods; and identifies and develops methods and procedures to resolve problems or cope with issues that affect the accomplishment of principal goals and objectives of the IA process employed within DO
- Reviews and evaluates program goals, develops methods to measure success, identifies factors influencing program accomplishments, and recommends changes accordingly to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and program operations.
