The Cape Ann YMCA is seeking dedicated individuals who enjoy working with children to join our school-age program team! School Age Program Staff help create a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment so that each child can learn, grow, and thrive. On a regular day, you will demonstrate a vast knowledge of good teaching practices, and lead children in fun and engaging activities! Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the secure check-in and check-out of children attending and departing the program, supervise the activities of a small group of children, and communicate with supporting team members.
To thrive in this position you must have an interest working directly with children in a structured way and previous experience working with youth and individuals from diverse backgrounds. You also have an interest in working in education, social work, childcare, or at a non-profit. This is a job with purpose; our school-age staff truly makes a difference!
