2021 Intern - Software Engineer, Developer Experience

We are Developer Experience organization, and we constantly evolving Adobe cloud platforms to ensure magnificent developer experience and outstanding offering for the data integration and computing platforms. We are working across teams and improving various aspects of FaaS (Function as a Service) platform, data platform, authorization, telemetry and observability to allow 3rd-party developers to build extensions and to sell them to the Adobe Cloud tenants on App Store. We are looking for engineers passioned about open source development, cloud technologies, serverless paradigm who are eager to tackle hard problems in large distributed microservices architecture who can work with us in a fast-paced multifaceted and agile environment! Our stack is Akka/scala, java, gRPC, GraphQL, Microsoft Azure.

What You’ll Do


  • Develop platform and services to extend business logic of micro-services using messaging infrastructure
  • Supervise and improve latencies and performance of the FaaS platform
  • Build new generation of the Apache OpenWhisk with streamlined architecture for high-throughput cases
  • Use machine learning to optimize resource scaling and utilization
  • Build platform to extend GraphQL and gRPC APIs by 3rd-party developers

What You Need to Succeed


  • Degree is not required
  • Knowledge of the distributed computing, design of data-intensive applications
  • Hand-on experience with monitoring and tracing tools, performance testing
  • Java language, Scala is a huge plus
