Seacoast Mental Health Center has an immediate opening for an Outreach Specialist in our Portsmouth Adult Outreach team. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Outreach Specialist are responsible for coordinating services and providing direct support, advocacy, and assertive outreach to adults with severe and persistent mental illness in community-based settings. This position requires effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with treatment team members and community contacts to ensure clients' care. Outreach Specialists must have excellent organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment a plus.

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services or related filed with a preference of 1-2 years prior experience. Criminal BEAS and DCYF background check, valid driver's license and be able to demonstrate a "clean" driving record, reliable transportation and current proof of insurance of coverage.
