This is a full‐time position –not temporary. For the first two years, the Technical Career Field (TCF) Program will equip engineers with the specialized knowledge they need to support the delivery of quality health care for our Nation’s Veterans. This program provides the foundation for developing engineers from entry level to full performance level. It includes planned training, rotational assignments, and on‐the‐job work experiences. At the GS‐7 grade level, the engineer will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. The engineer will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the GS‐9 level then the full performance level of GS‐11. These full‐time permanent positions provide salary, benefits, focused training and travel. Upon completion of the program, the graduate will transition into a fully performing VA General Engineer position. For more info, visit:
