About this Job
As an Associate, you will begin to utilize your educational background as well as your organizational skills as you work on clients of the Firm. You will take direction from other, more experienced members of the Team as you assist in problem solving and fact-finding. You will work on various stages of assurance and tax engagements, including fieldwork in the areas of compliance testing, cash, accounts receivable, inventories, fixed assets, accounts payable and accruals. Typical responsibilities will include utilizing basic research skills and working with tax software applications to complete basic tax returns for review. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, applying some areas of GAAP as necessary, and making suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.
