COLA Fellowship- Indonesian Community Connect

Summer 2023 COLA Fellowship Program 
The College of Liberal Arts (COLA) Global Racial and Social Inequality Lab (GRSIL) is hosting summer fellowship program for students enrolled in COLA majors. Rising COLA Juniors and Senior students with a passion for sustainable social justice and skills to promote positive change will be paired with a local organization to work for 6 weeks (dates may vary by host site). DESCRIPTION
Modality: In person 30 hours a week

Host overview: 
The mission of Indonesian Community Connect Inc is to establish access to information resources, facilitate mutual understanding among different cultures and values throughout New Hampshire and New England, and promote the richness of Indonesian cultural diversity. Our work at ICC enriches the State of New Hampshire by deepening its global connections with local communities, developing intrastate, interstate, and international commercial relations, and providing the growing economy with access to untapped Indonesian markets and workforce. With the vision to become the bridge to the Indonesian culture, ICC works with sectors from health, immigration, workforce, law enforcement, education, food security, government, business and economic development.

Project Overview: 
The Little Indonesia Project is a Chinatown concept for the Indonesian community of the Tri-City Area. This project aims to connect local businesses to the Indonesian workforce, drive economic development in the Seacoast of New Hampshire, and increase commerce and tourism to the State of New Hampshire with a focus on connecting communities and facilitating deeper cross-cultural competency between the Indonesian community and the New Hampshire community at-large.

Deliverables: 
1.Run events like the Little Indonesia Café, Night Market, Marketplace, and Cultural Engagement programs.
2.Create Marketing contents for events, programs, and merchandise in the Little Indonesia Gift Shop
3. Manage daily schedules, planning and meetings.
