Role Description: We are looking for a PR & Social Media Management Intern to join the Slate Brands’ communications team. This position will support PR initiatives, social media management and communications for our talent and in-house brands.
The Ideal Candidate: A highly organized individual who is passionate about beauty and the communications space. This person is up-beat, data-driven, able to multitask and can keep up with a fast paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide support to our communications team
- Market trend research and data management - share findings with the team
- Assist with PR pitches, outreach and strategy
- Organization and management of internal PR database
- Assist with copywriting for Slate Brands newsletter
- Assist with content creation for social platforms
- Assist on Data collection
- Brainstorm creative marketing activations for our in-house fragrance brand launching soon
QualificationsÂ
- Must be a sophomore or junior in an undergraduate program
- Must have strong communication skills
- Have an interest in beauty and a keen eye for trends
- Must have existing familiarity with social media influencers
- Must be familiar with present and up and coming platform capabilities (ex: Tik Tok)
- Excellent organizational skills
- The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Details: Our office is located in Brooklyn, NY, but this is a remote position. This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity to become a paid internship. We are looking for a minimum of 15 hours a week, and are flexible to your schedule. Candidates can receive college credit for the internship
