Custodian III

Custodian III positions lead, train, assign, and assist custodial crews in cleaning and maintaining various facilities; supervise and inspect the work in assigned areas; make recommendations to supervisors regarding the work performance of subordinates; requisition/issue supplies and maintain inventory; maintain timekeeping records; make written and oral requests for repair work and materials; provide information and assistance to the public; and perform other duties as assigned.
 
       NOTES:

• Some Custodian III positions may be required to work night shift for which they may receive additional pay.
• Some Custodian III positions may be required to drive light trucks and related equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

You must meet the following requirements on the date you apply, unless otherwise indicated.
 
EXPERIENCE:  One year of full-time experience performing varied janitorial, custodial, or domestic maintenance.

LICENSE:  A valid California Class C Driver License is required at the time of hire.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

• Lead and/or supervisory experience.
• Individuals interested in working night shift.
