PCAL Event Photography Intern Job Duties

Position Summary

The PCAL Event Photography Intern will assist with photo needs for the PCAL Louisville Alumni Soiree on Thursday, February 29th. The Photography Intern will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering photos to support event coverage. This position will work on-site at the event. The intern may have the opportunity to extend their position beyond the PCAL Louisville Alumni Soiree at the discretion of their supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the PCAL Communication and Events Specialist to plan and execute photographic coverage of the PCAL Louisville Alumni Soiree.
• Capture engaging photos to support the goal of maintaining a consistent visual identity of PCAL.

Job Requirement Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in photography techniques, including lighting & editing
• Ability to provide photography and photo editing for event
• Ability to provide photography and photo editing for social media and or website
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom preferred
• Basic understanding of PCAL and its departments
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
