We’re looking for Freelance Content Creators at NowThis! 

NowThis has 91M followers across TikTok/Instagram/Snap/FB/X and we reach over 162M people - 60% of adults 18-34 in the US, 88% of Snapchat users and 56% of US TikTok users!

Are you a storyteller by nature? Do you have a unique perspective and a keen understanding of social space? Are you a polymath who is looking for a platform? This role is for you!

The ideal candidate has a strong on camera presence and is an avid social media user who understands trends and best practices across multiple platforms. This is an incredible opportunity to cut your teeth in content creation, share your voice on our massive platform and work closely with best-in-class industry professionals. You’ll work closely with the editorial leads to ideate and create digital content including social media posts across multiple platforms that aligns with NowThis’ brand and content goals. This is a freelance role that could be remote and flexible according to your availability. Use of our studio space located in NYC is also an option.
 

• Pitch engaging ideas to create and execute fresh social media content in the NT brand voice that aligns with the brand vision
• Create diverse media content, including videos, social posts, GIFs, and memes. You will write, film, and potentially edit these pieces before delivering them to NT for publication on our platforms
• Comfortable appearing on camera and capable of self-recording to produce authentic and engaging content
• Ability to deliver content in an engaging and relatable way
• Iterating on videos based on engagement rates, viewership and other metrics based on feedback from NT insights
• Have a knowledge of best practices across social media platforms and technology including understanding of emerging trends and developments
• Editing skills are not mandatory but a plus!
