Prototype Store Coordinator

Job Description

The principal purpose of this position is to manage and organize a productive flow of merchandise samples for the prototype store.

  • Responsible for managing receipt, placement, and disposal of merchandise samples.
  • Responsible for moving sample product as needed.
  • Responsible for setting all merchandise in the prototype store for plan-o-guides, planners, endcaps, events, advertising, marketing, tests, etc.
  • Responsible for partnering with Category Merchants on product priorities.
  • Responsible for partnering with Category Merchants to gain a basic understanding of category strategies to obtain product knowledge.
  • Responsible for partnering with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Space Planning to understand prototype store priorities.
  • Responsible for partnering with Merchant’s Assistants to procure samples for use in the prototype store.
  • Consulted to resolve conflicting cross-category prototype store priorities.
