Pratt & Whitney’s Program Planning & Scheduling group is searching for a Subcontractor Integration Scheduler. The PP&S organization works with key program stakeholders to promote the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as a healthy, integrated management tool.

 

The Master Schedule is the program’s most powerful management tool and when properly maintained, the schedule can be used to influence program management decisions and actions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with Subcontractors and P&W Subcontractor Partner Program Managers / CAMs
  • Ensure compliant integration and updates of Subcontractor data into program schedules
  • Analyze impacts of Subcontractor execution on program milestones and facilitating the mitigation efforts for reporting to the program and in the IPMR format 6 as required
  • Identify, analyze, and manage Subcontractor program risks
  • Partner with Earned Value Analysts to ensure alignment between schedule and EV data
  • Work with the Subcontractor to make sure schedules support P&W processes and meet compliance requirements
  • Work with the Subcontractor to provide performance feedback in an effort to improve supplier schedule quality
  • Act as POC for Subcontractors in program reviews (IBR)
  • Create program scheduling procedures and standard work, continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation / productivity as well as communicating improvements and efficiencies in scheduling processes

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field and 5+ years of program scheduling, including experience with Scheduling Tools (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, Open Plan) and proficiency in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word) required, OR, an advanced degree with 3+ years of program scheduling, including experience with Scheduling Tools (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, Open Plan) and proficiency in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word) is required
  • 3+ years’ experience and knowledge in the application of integrated cost/schedule techniques on programs
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

 

Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                           

  • Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management principles
  • Familiarity with the NDIA's Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide
  • Experience on DoD compliance programs, reporting requirements, and familiarity with the DoD Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guide (EVM SIG)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in efficient and effective schedule analysis
  • Understanding of systems/project engineering concepts and practices
  • Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • The ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complete data
