Environmental Compliance Inspector (TE2)

Renton, WA – Northwest Region 

$71,101 - $95,621 Annually

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) I-405/SR 167 Program is seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 to serve as an Environmental Compliance Inspector, to support our Renton Project Office In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring that all environmental permits are met, and environmental compliance is satisfied for design-build construction projects. This position is also responsible for verification inspection of design-builder's activities in the field and compliance documentation activities related to the contract, permits, and environmental and legal requirements. This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work on a very large-scale design-build project. Our top candidate will be comfortable working in the field performing a variety of duties in accordance with WSDOT standards.
