Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic UX/UI Design Intern to join our design team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the full design process, from research to wire-framing, prototyping, and creating visually compelling interfaces that extends across all its products. As an intern, you’ll work closely with our design and development teams to contribute to real-world projects, learn industry best practices, and grow your design skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting user research and gathering feedback through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Help create user personas, user journeys, and wireframes based on research insights.
  • Participate in brainstorming and design review sessions, contributing fresh ideas and solutions.
  • Create high-fidelity UI mockups, prototypes, and design assets using design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Support the design team in developing design systems, style guides, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless handoff of design assets and maintain design consistency.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and iteration of design assets for existing products or features.
  • Assist with project management tasks, such as organizing design files, preparing presentations, and tracking design feedback.
  • Learn and apply UX/UI principles, design patterns, and industry trends to ensure a high-quality user experience.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience in responsive design.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and customizing templates or themes.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other design software (portfolio required).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
  • A keen eye for detail and design consistency.
  • Passion for user-centered design and improving digital experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with prototyping and interaction design.
  • Understanding of accessibility best practices and inclusive design.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design projects (personal or academic).
