Social Media Coordinator

Social media is one of the primary keys to our profitable growth engine and long-term success. Seeding our main social media accounts prior to this summer’s launch is how we set up the MVP for initial traction. Our product is made to be shared and the Social Media Coordinator’s goal is to make TravelMoney consistently viral. 

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across all social media platforms. This role involves implementing social media strategies, increasing online engagement, and driving brand awareness to achieve business goals. The coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive online presence across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant content (including text, images, videos, and graphics) tailored to each social media platform.
  • Content Scheduling: Plan and schedule posts in advance using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social) to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Build relationships with followers and engage with audiences through comments, polls, and other interactive features.
  • Social Media Strategy: Assist in developing and executing social media strategies that align with the overall marketing goals and brand voice.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools. Generate reports on key metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth. Adjust strategies based on these insights.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and digital marketing.
  • Collaborative Campaigns: Work closely with the product teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and events through social media channels.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media content is consistent with the brand’s voice, style, and guidelines.
  • Influencer and Partnership Outreach: Identify and collaborate with influencers or brand partners to expand reach and engagement.
