Head Teacher

The Family YMCA at Tarrytown is seeking a head teacher for our Early Childcare Program located in Tarrytown, NY, at the Y Early Learning Center.  Must either have a degree in Early Childhood Education, a CDA in early childhood or be working towards either a CDA or a degree.  Flexible schedule, and we are willing to work with college students actively pursuing a degree. 

Must be willing to change diapers, have experience working with children, be able to communicate effectively with parents and be a team player.   Staff must go through OCFS screening and training requirements, including a physical and TB test. 

Monday through Friday

Hours approximately 9-4
