My boss, Evelyn, was amazing. She made it such a fun experience for me and I really appreciated all the guidance she gave me.
What I wish was different
Weirdly enough, I wish I had more work. There were some days I had very little to do. I also wished that I had more interactions with different departments.
Advice
If you are looking into working at a large NGO after college, definitely consider applying for this summer internship. It was really great for me to see this side of the NGO sphere and shaped what i think I want to do post-graduation.

I wish we could have done work inside the office.
Advice
Be prepared to work in a team setting and learn how to compromise. Also, don’t be scared to take criticism and ask for it when it comes to your writing.
